This is reflected in the way we approach your repair need: To make a proper evaluation of your automobile's condition, we must personally check the vehicle. Any other approach is pure speculation as late model and foreign automobiles are extremely complicated, computer-controlled, electro-mechanical-hydraulic devices. And while the cause of the poor performing automobile may appear obvious, the symptoms can often mask additional problems that also need attention.

If possible we will begin with a test drive to see first-hand how the automobile is acting. Then we will check the on-board diagnostics, fluid level and conditions. If possible, we will then make a preliminary evaluation and identify the problem. For most engine and mechanical issues, we will be able to identify the problem and provide an initial estimate. For transmission related issues, if all indications point to an internal transmission problems, it will be necessary to remove the transmission and determine the cause. Because of the time and cost required to remove a transmission and fix a given problem it may be nearly as inexpensive to completely rebuild the transmission or replace it with a manufactured rebuilt transmission. This approach will decrease the likelihood of additional internal transmission problems occurring at some later time as all moving parts are replaced with new ones. At this point we can give you a firm, not-to-exceed estimate on the cost to repair or service your transmission.
